Expect some redness immediately after treatment and for the rest of the day after. The following day, some redness may still be present, but you are able to continue daily activities as planned. Expect sandpaper-like texture of the skin for a week following the treatment as the skin works to create collagen and create a smoother skin barrier. Be sure to wear sunscreen and be careful with sun exposure the week following treatment.

The Clear + Brilliant laser uses two wavelengths — 1440 nm and 1927 nm — delivered via separate handpieces for different skin concerns.

The primary and original Clear + Brilliant handpiece is a 1440 nm non‑ablative fractional diode laser. This penetrates deeper into the dermis to stimulate collagen production, improve fine lines, enlarged pores, and overall skin texture.

The secondar handpiece, Perméa, is a 1927 nm non‑ablative fractional thulium laser. This handpiece works closer to the skin’s surface to target pigmentation issues (sun spots, uneven tone) and temporarily increase skin permeability for better topical product absorption.

Some protocols combine both wavelengths in a single session to address both texture and pigmentation, while others use one handpiece at a time depending on the primary concern.
